The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has sought clarification from four officials over the use of a disfigured national flag on the Janaki temple premises during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.
Province 2 Acting Principal Secretary Hari Phuyal, Province 2 Internal Affairs and Law Ministry Secretary Deviram Bhandari, Dhanusha Chief District Officer Gopal Parajuli and Janakpur Sub-metropolis Executive Officer Madan Bhandari have been asked to clarify how the wrongly-shaped and figured flag was installed on the temple. They have been asked to furnish a written clarification within three days.
